Salwa Saeed
Outreach Officer
Salwa Saeed Haji holds a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Eastern Mediterranean University and currently serves as an Outreach Officer with FYF. Transitioning from her previous role as a Harikara with FYF, Salwa brings a strong commitment to community support and advocacy. As a Harikara, she implemented community outreach initiatives focused on raising awareness about women’s rights, minority rights, prevention of violence against women and girls, and the Yezidi Survivors Law. With prior experience at UNICEF, the AMAR Foundation, and Harikar NGO, Salwa has honed her skills in psychosocial care and capacity-building for displaced communities. She has worked closely with these communities to conduct needs assessments, develop resilience-building programs, and provide trauma counseling. Her collaborative efforts with local NGOs and healthcare providers have ensured that families receive the support they need for healthcare, protection, and livelihoods. Salwa’s dedication to empowering those affected by conflict and displacement continues to drive her impactful work at FYF, making a profound difference in the lives of those she serves.
