Zozan Haseeb

Zozan Haseeb, a native of Sheikhan, holds a degree in English Language from the University of Duhok. Since 2018, she has worked with both local and international organizations, demonstrating a deep commitment to advocacy and protection programming for vulnerable communities in Iraq. In her role as Advocacy Manager at the Free Yezidi Foundation, Zozan spearheads impactful advocacy initiatives designed to empower Iraqi minority women, focusing on advancing women’s rights, increasing access to resources, and promoting active participation in civic and governmental spheres. Her work is instrumental in crafting advocacy strategies that address the unique challenges faced by women in marginalized communities, including those impacted by conflict and displacement. Zozan’s dedication to women’s empowerment is driven by her vision of a just society where Yezidi and other minority voices are heard and valued. She remains passionately committed to influencing policies and fostering an environment of inclusion, resilience, and equal opportunity for all.
