Justice Officer
Saadiya Shukur, a dedicated human rights advocate from Shariya, holds a Bachelor's degree in Translation from the University of Duhok. Since completing her studies in 2019, she has gained meaningful experience in the humanitarian sector, working directly with communities affected by conflict and injustice.
As a Justice Officer at FYF, Saadiya plays a central role in documenting violations committed against the Yezidi community and advancing efforts toward justice and accountability. Her work involves direct engagement with survivors of conflict-related violence, ensuring their voices are heard and their experiences are accurately recorded for national and international justice mechanisms.
Driven by a deep sense of responsibility to her community, Saadiya is committed to amplifying the voices of survivors and promoting a survivor-centered approach to justice. Her dedication, compassion, and professionalism make her an integral part of FYF’s mission to achieve accountability and long-term redress for atrocity crimes.
