Kafia Ido
Livelihoods Officer
Kafia Ido is originally from Sinjar. She is a highly skilled knitting and sewing instructor. Prior to joining FYF in 2015, Kafia was a sewing instructor for IOM. Through her skills and creativity, she has trained many Yezidi women in making different handmade products. Kafia hopes that she can empower Yezidi women to learn new skills and open their own businesses. As Livelihoods Officer, Kafia manages all beneficiary artisans at FYF's Enterprise and Training Center, supporting them to design new Chonky Animal and other prototypes and earn and income from their products.
