Ghazi Murad
Education Manager
Ghazi Murad is a certified translator with a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Duhok. He brings over four years of experience in translation, advocacy, and project coordination, with a focus on supporting survivors of ISIL atrocities. Ghazi previously served as a translation coordinator and advocacy officer with Yazda, where he worked closely with survivors to amplify their stories and advocate for justice. He also worked as a project coordinator and translator for Sinjar Academy on the Ruptured Atlas project, contributing to initiatives documenting the Yezidi genocide. Currently, as FYF’s Education Manager, Ghazi oversees educational programming that bridges divides between genders and across ethnic and religious communities in Iraq. He is dedicated to fostering inclusive learning environments that promote mutual understanding and respect, empowering participants from all backgrounds to pursue their goals and contribute to a more cohesive society.
