Youth for HOPE Center Graduation

From April 2021 to August 2022, 313 youth from Khanke’s IDP camp graduated from FYF’s Khanke Youth Center. Due to the war and the horrific events that the Yezidi people experienced, IDP youth received weekly classes on mental health topics to raise awareness of how mental health affects human beings, as well as classes to improve their English language skills and computer skills.

Youth for HOPE – Healing Opportunity for Peace and Empowerment is a Free Yezidi Foundation project to prevent suicide among youth. FYF’s approach is to empower and train Yezidi youth. We as Yezidis are the community, we as civil society need support to work with our own community and create a better future for our own people.

Support our work!

FYF works to support the most vulnerable members of the Yezidi community by providing them with education, economic empowerment, post-trauma treatment, and access to justice. If you want your donations to have a real impact on the lives of women and children affected by conflict, please consider giving to FYF today.
