UNITAD Vicarious Trauma Training to FYF Staff

Today the United Nations UNITAD team provided members of one FYF project with training and best practices on vicarious trauma and self-care strategies. FYF provides a number of services to Yezidi civilians, including protection and MHPSS services to Yezidi survivors. This team received this training from the UNITAD psychologist, helping to ensure staff in this project are able to mitigate against vicarious trauma in their work in favor of Yezidi survivors.

FYF is grateful to the UNITAD team for providing this critical service to local civil society organization practitioners, including the FYF team and staff members of other NGOs operating in Iraq.
