FYF meets Foreign Minister of Luxembourg
FYF Country Director Hewan Omer and lawyer Saood Ahmed were pleased to meet with the Foreign Minister Asselborn of Luxembourg on his visit to Duhok, to discuss matters related to survivors’ rights and Yezidi recovery efforts.
It is of the utmost importance that genocide survivors, who after more than seven years still live in critical conditions in displacement, are not forgotten. The Foreign Minister showed his solidarity with the Yezidi community, and FYF team members were able to share views with the visiting delegation.
