FYF in Sweden: Advocating for Yezidi Justice and Recovery

During FYF’s recent visit to Sweden, Executive Director Pari Ibrahim held important meetings with key officials and organizations to support the Yezidi community’s recovery and pursue justice.

Pari met with former Foreign Minister Ann Linde, who expressed strong support for Yezidis and emphasized the importance of justice and accountability for the Yezidi Genocide.

She also met with Ambassador Maria Leissner and Swedish government officials, who voiced concerns about the ongoing challenges Yezidis face in recovery and displacement.

Finally, FYF explored potential collaboration with the Olaf Palme Center to support Yezidi recovery efforts, focusing on rebuilding lives and promoting healing.

These critical discussions reinforce FYF’s commitment to advocating for justice and supporting the Yezidi community on the global stage.
