FYF crafts a top seller at US Consulate, UNHCR bazaars

FYF’s Enterprise & Training Center presented hand-crafted items at two events in Erbil: the US Consulate holiday bazaar and a UNHCR event highlighting women’s issues. In both cases, FYF sold items crafted by Yezidi women artisans. Items included blankets, rugs, and FYF’s own brand of Chonky stuffed animals. In the US Consulate bazaar alone, FYF sold $2732 worth of items. FYF collects a small portion of the proceeds to cover operational costs, and the remainder of the revenue goes directly to the Yezidi artisans.
