FYF conducts internal YSL training

FYF held trainings and workshops on the Yazidi Survivors Law (YSL), Iraq’s reparation program for ISIS survivors that recently started accepting applications. The trainings were attended by FYF staff, including our lawyer, psychologists and social workers working in Khanke, Sharya and Sheikhan and covered the legal framework, the application process, and ethical standards for supporting survivors under the YSL. FYF will soon complete building its internal capacity, structures and protocols and start providing survivor-centered support to ISIS survivors who wish to apply for reparations under the YSL.
