As the 10th anniversary of the Yezidi Genocide approaches, the need to shed light on the ongoing impact of the
PROTECTION
Yezidi survivors of genocide and sexual violence, as well as female survivors from other minority groups in Iraq, are in critical need of consistent and reliable structured mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services to heal and recover. FYF’s women-led protection team of 16 dedicated professionals will continue and expand upon its survivor-centered, do-no-harm MHPSS service provision, targeting those most vulnerable.
