FYF Eight-Year Commemoration of the Yezidi Genocide

On August 3,  2022 FYF held two events to mark eight years since the genocide, hosting a range of panels to discuss the Yezidi Genocide, its effects, and next steps for our vulnerable community.

Virtual Event

FYF hosted a virtual event featuring panels with Yezidi and international experts as well as representatives from the United Nations, foreign governments, and non-governmental organizations.

In Person Event

The Free Yezidi Foundation, Sinjar Academy, and Youth Bridge Organization hosted an in-person Yezidi Genocide commemoration event on 3 August 2022 in Khanke, Duhok province.
