FYF distributes goods to needy families on Yezidi holiday

The Free Yezidi Foundation marked the Yezidi winter holiday, Ida Ezi, by distributing goods and food products to 13 less fortunate Yezidi families living as IDPs more than eight years after the Yezidi Genocide.
FYF received a cash donation from a generous Yezidi individual living in Iraq who wished to provide goods to Yezidi families in need. FYF distributed items to these thirteen families to ensure they would have a slightly better holiday and be in a better position to manage the rest of the winter season. The beneficiaries of this distribution are not pictured. FYF Country Director Hewan Omer led this effort, personally overseeing the distribution of items to the families.
