"I also learned a lot from community visits. Each of the people we visit has a different story. We learn from their experiences and at the same time they benefit from our knowledge in psychology coping skills. Also, my own behavior has changed a lot since I started working as Harikara: now I am able to relax and calm myself when I am angry or when I am in bad mood through the exercises the FYF Trauma team showed us. I like this job a lot because I am now able to help my community, my friends and my family. It makes me very happy."

Sanaa is a 26 years old, Yezidi woman. Original from Sinoni (Sinjar, Iraq), she currently lives in Sharia IDP Camp with her family. In June 2020, Sanaa started working as one of the Harikara in the Sharia IDP camp.
