SASG Dieng & USG Khan Visit FYF Center

2 March 2020, Khanke, Iraq: United Nations Special Adviser of the Secretary General on the Prevention of Genocide Adama Dieng and Special Adviser and Head of UNITAD Karim Khan visited the Khanke IDP camp to learn about current conditions, needs, and priorities of members of the Yezidi community. FYF Country Director Hewan Omer led the delegation on a tour of the IDP camp, and the FYF justice team participated in a session with the delegation and survivors about the importance of justice, accountability, and humanitarian needs of the Yezidi community.
