About the Chonky Animals®
Since 2014, FYF has been responding to the acute protection needs of Yezidi survivors, IDPs, and marginalized women. FYF’s Enterprise and Training Center (ETC) in Khanke, Duhok sustainably empowers women to reduce their vulnerabilities through skills training, jobs placement, and income generation activities. At the ETC, female artisans are trained in crafting and marketing one-of-a-kind items, including the Chonky Animals® product line of hand knitted stuffed animals.
100% of your donation today goes to the artisans, supplies, and maintenance of the ETC, which empowers Yezidi women and survivors to heal, recover, and reclaim their agencies.
Donation Amount and Payment
By donating and selecting your Chonky Animal gift from FYF, you acknowledge and agree that your donation is to support FYF’s mission of empowering vulnerable displaced Yezidi women. Your donation does not constitute a commercial transaction, and no ownership rights are transferred to you regarding the gift.
All donations must be made through FYF’s approved payment methods, which include credit card, PayPal, and cash (if donated locally). By providing your payment information, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping and delivery of products will be handled in accordance with DHL guidelines and policies and may vary depending on your order and location. Estimated shipping fees are listed below and will be communicated to you during the checkout process. Please note that shipping fees do not include any applicable customs tax. As the person making the donation, it remains your individual responsibility to pay for any customs tax or duties that may apply to the import of your chosen product.
Returns and Refunds
Your payment is a donation – returns and refunds are not applicable. However, if you receive your gift damaged or defective, please contact us for assistance at info@freeyezidi.org.
