FYF Meets Deputy US Consul General in Erbil

FYF’s Executive Director, Pari Ibrahim, met with Deputy US Consul General Zehra Bell in Erbil to discuss several issues related to Yezidi affairs. The United States is a key partner in the recovery of the community in the aftermath of the Yezidi Genocide, and has done more than any other nation to advance Yezidi rehabilitation and development. FYF also expressed its concern over the airstrikes in Sinjar and the impact this has on the prospect of Yezidis returning to their areas of origin.
