FYF meets with UNITAD leadership in Washington

FYF held a working lunch with UNITAD leadership, including SA Christian Ritscher, during the delegation’s trip to Washington. A number of developments were discussed, including FYF’s filing as a civil party in the Lafarge case and other matters. With the new Iraqi Government formed, all parties were hopeful that the Parliament would consider passing legislation on international crimes. In addition, the value of coordination among justice actors, including justice ministries, civil society, UN mechanisms, and others was emphasized.
