On International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, we are launching our End of Year campaign dedicated to freeing and healing Yezidi women and children who have endured over a decade of modern-day slavery.

Approximately 2,600 Yezidi women and children remain enslaved as a result of the Yezidi Genocide committed by ISIS, enduring unimaginable conditions of captivity. Despite their ongoing suffering, the international community has largely failed to take meaningful action, leaving their plight overlooked by much of the world.

FREEDOM FOR THE FORGOTTEN: BREAKING THE CHAINS OF ENSLAVED YEZIDI WOMEN AND CHILDREN

At FYF, we are working tirelessly behind the scenes to rescue these women and children and provide them with the support they need to heal and rebuild. Once rescued, their recovery is just beginning, and that’s where you come in.

Every dollar you donate has a direct and profound impact on the lives of survivors:

• $25: Can help fund a month of individual therapy, supporting a survivor as they begin the process of healing from trauma.
• $50: Can help fund legal aid for a survivor, providing them with essential support to navigate their legal rights.
• $100: Can help fund behind-the-scenes work to locate and identify missing Yezidi individuals, coordinating with their families for essential updates and support.
• $250: Can help fund a survivor’s participation in a vocational training program, empowering survivors to obtain sustainable livelihoods.
• $500: Can help fund a full year of trauma-informed therapy, offering long-term healing and mental health support for survivor reintegration.
• $1,000: Can help fund the holistic recovery of a Yezidi woman or child rescued from ISIS captivity, while also supporting efforts to pursue justice and accountability against perpetrators.
