BEHIND EVERY SMILE IS A YEZIDI WOMAN AT WORK

These celebrations are more than birthdays, they are a source of income, dignity, and opportunity for women supporting their families. Each gift is a handmade Chonky Animal made by a Yezidi woman with love. At FYF’s Sugar is Sweet Bakery, Yezidi women bake the cakes, prepare the decorations, and create joyful birthday moments. By supporting this initiative, you bring joy to children while empowering Yezidi women.

CONTINUING THE WORK AHEAD: A LOOK INTO 2026

Our Changemakers project will reach a pivotal stage in early 2026, with minority women meeting directly with key stakeholders to implement community action plans rooted in their priorities and leadership. At the same time, we will continue our fight for justice, working to ensure accountability for crimes against humanity and to center survivors’ voices in all justice efforts.

In parallel, we will be launching a new protection initiative to secure legal aid and protection support for survivors of genocide and sexual and gender-based violence. Alongside this work, we will carry on our tireless advocacy efforts and continue building bridges with partners who share our vision of dignity, accountability, and lasting change.
