FYF and others prompt statements in support of missing Yezidis

Washington D.C., FYF and others have been pressing the international community to scale up efforts to identify and rescue the more than 2700 missing Yezidis. The US State Department’s International Religious Freedom office joined several other countries on a joint statement calling for the issue to be addressed (link: https://www.state.gov/statement-on-missing-yezidi-women-and-children/ ). In addition, British MP Fiona Bruce posed a question in Parliament to UK FCDO Elizabeth Truss calling for attention to this matter. FYF and other partners will continue to apply pressure to prompt rescue of the missing Yezidis.
